Stained Glass

Stained glass is one of the building crafts that have eluded modern building technology. It is possible to make a modern piece of work using materials and techniques that are hundreds of years old.

A stained glass panel in the correct location in architecture can be a constant source of ever changing, transparent coloured light, day and night, inside and outside.

The colours, patterns and textures of glass that are available to the artist are infinite. It is like working with rigid pieces of watercolour.

It has always been a part of my design aesthetic to place stained glass pieces in my architectural work as an element of spatial expansion and changing ambience.
